About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically motivated CAD Intern to support the Engineering team with 2D and 3D design activities. This internship provides hands-on experience in computer-aided design, documentation, and collaboration within a real-world manufacturing and product development environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree or technical certification in CAD, Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar.
• Understanding of 2D drafting standards and basic GD&T is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and update 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• Assist in developing part layouts, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
• Update engineering documentation, including drawings and revision histories.
• Support engineering change requests (ECRs) and design updates.
• Assist with prototype designs and preparation of drawings for manufacturing.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
• Organize and maintain CAD files and documentation.
• Follow all safety, quality, and engineering procedures.
