About The Position
Exacta, dba WINDROSE is one of the nation’s premier residential and commercial land surveying companies. Exacta provides services in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia, Florida, and Texas. Services include all types of residential, commercial, construction and ALTA/NSPS surveys with a commitment of accurate and timely delivery to our clients. Our surveys provide an important component for real estate type transactions involving buyers and sellers, title companies, lenders, attorneys, and real estate agents. The CAD Drafter position is responsible for the development and production of the company’s survey drafting department including all aspects of personnel management, generates weekly reports showing specific job/task allocation, hours worked (including overtime) and measures of quality and efficiency as required. Responsible for 1:1 training of new hires and mentoring existing staff for their professional development and increased productivity. Responsible for various design work and other related assignments for final Survey Preparation and Metes & Bounds Preparation related to the Commercial Land Surveying department. The CAD Drafting Manager position will report to Business Unit Leader. The work is performed in an office setting with moderate noise levels. This job frequently requires the employee to stand, walk, use hands, tools, controls, reach with arms, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; sit; use hands; read; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 10 - 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
