About The Position

As a CAD Drafter at Stantec, you will work closely with engineers and senior designers on a variety of Oil and Gas projects. This role involves using CAD software to produce design changes, general arrangement drawings, and other drafting tasks while adhering to established standards. Requirements

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CAD drafting, particularly in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
• Basic knowledge of algebra, geometry, and engineering calculations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of PDMS and Bentley platforms.
• Experience with 2D/3D model design environments.
• Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).

Responsibilities

• Complete design changes and general arrangement drawing production using CAD software.
• Maintain different drafting standards and perform basic engineering calculations related to drafting problems.
• Assist in determining bill of material and equipment lists.
• Write routine reports and correspondence related to projects.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, senior designers, and team leads on assigned projects.
• Support team operations and promote health and safety culture.
