About The Position
At Accredited Home Elevator, we are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing exceptional home elevator solutions. The Skilled CAD Design Drafter will be an integral part of our Drafting & Engineering department, responsible for creating detailed drawings and designing elevator components. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow with the company while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. In this role, you will prepare detailed elevator drawings and specification sheets for state and architect plan reviews. You will design elevator cabs and prepare bills of material for manufacturing and installation. Additionally, you will create layout drawings for elevator mechanical equipment and assist with engineering change requests (ECRs) and general administrative duties. Your responsibilities will also include developing machine drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of material, as well as participating in machine assembly, in-house and field testing, and supporting basic fabrication and assembly tasks.
