About The Position

CEI Engineering Associates in Bentonville, AR is looking to hire a full-time Civil CAD Designer to provide AutoCAD design and drafting support for civil site development projects. Requirements

• A one-year college or technical school CAD certificate or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 1+ years of CAD design experience.
• High proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to occasionally travel overnight.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to efficiently resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Draft site development plans for small and large-scale commercial, industrial, public works, and parks/recreation projects.
• Pay close attention to detail, including site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans, and other details to meet client and CEI standards.
• Research and review deeds, ordinances, technical reports, and municipal, state, and federal codes to ensure compliance.
• Analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints.
• Collaborate with project managers and design staff to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions.
• Apply redlines and plan revisions in the drawings.
