Requirements

• Experience reading and understanding construction documents is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of fire alarm or security systems.
• Previous experience designing, selling, installing, or servicing low voltage protective signaling systems.

Responsibilities

• Create scaled two-dimensional low voltage systems installation plans primarily for fire alarms using AutoCAD LT.
• Read and modify blueprints as needed for project support.
• Perform simple calculations related to design tasks.
• Interact with sales personnel and technicians to assist with design issues.
• Support co-workers with challenging design problems and apply knowledge of life safety systems.
• Engage with fire marshals and clients as required.
