The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Engineer provides enablement to a team of circuit design and layout engineers through the development of EDA tool automation routines, custom PDK elements, and best-practice methodologies. This position serves as the primary interface between end-users and EDA tool vendors. The CAD Engineer will gain experience in radiation-hardened design, layout, and the corresponding CAD requirements to ensure the highest reliability in the devices we develop. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all Engineering tools function as required and establish/implement flows to industry-leading standards. This position will be directly involved in the development of new products that support space missions developed for harsh environments on and beyond Earth. This position supports all of Frontgrade Engineering.
