Install and repair aerial telecommunications cable. Safely use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, and more. Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers. Flagging traffic when required. Understanding of separation and clearance regulations. Moderate travel with possible overnight travel when required. Competent pole and ladder-climbing skills. Works aloft utilizing climbing gaffs, ladders, and mechanical lifts. Safely operate company vehicles and equipment such as bucket trucks, excavators, trenchers, and other machines. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Proficient in reading network design prints. Splicing of passive and active equipment is a plus.
