About The Position

The Installation Technician position at DIRECTV involves dispatching and servicing customers in the Bozeman, MT area. Requirements

• Valid state driver's license, commercial license, or chauffeur's license appropriate to the vehicle driven.
• Satisfactory driving record check.
• Ability to work day, evening, or night shifts, including overtime, emergency call-outs, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to travel for out-of-area work, which may include overnight travel.
• Ability to pass drug testing as mandated by state and federal requirements.
• Ability to pass a security check if required.
• Ability to drive a vehicle with a manual gearshift if required.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Satisfactory results from the Premise Technician Assessment Technical.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service or technical support roles.
• Familiarity with satellite installation and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Install and service customer satellite equipment both indoors and outdoors.
• Educate customers on the features and functionality of services.
• Verify all services are operational and demonstrate, sell, and bill video service while engaging with customers.
• Perform work in various environments including buildings, attics, basements, and crawl spaces, which may involve bending, kneeling, and crawling.
• Use a company PC to retrieve and complete orders.
• Work outside in all weather conditions while adhering to safety practices and procedures.
• Drive a company vehicle to various work locations.
