About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Cabling Technician with hands-on experience in structured cabling within data center environments. This role involves terminating jacks and RJ45 connectors, installing cabling infrastructure, and ensuring high-quality standards for network connectivity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and communicates effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 months of data center cabling experience
• Ability to terminate jacks and RJ45 connectors
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and 25 lbs frequently
• Comfortable working on ladders up to 20 feet and in confined spaces
• Must demonstrate consistent, on-time attendance

Responsibilities

• Terminate jacks and RJ45 connectors accurately and efficiently
• Perform basic commercial cabling tasks, including pulling and routing cables
• Distinguish and follow color codes for proper cable termination
• Support installation of cabling infrastructure in data centers
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and project specifications
• Demonstrate reliability and punctuality for all scheduled shifts
