About The Position

Must be comfortable working anywhere in Northern Virginia. Will move job sites after each project is completed (several weeks to months). need of 10-15 techs for their Data Center project in Manassas, Virginia. Initial project is 8.5 weeks long, but with several other projects happening simultaneously and more bids in process, the objective is for these consultants to on perm after they exceed their hours. Offers will be made on 2/27 and need to onboard ASAP to get them in NEO before 3/16. Must have a minimum of 2 years of data center experience to be considered a level 1 tech. Anything less than 2 years will be an automatic disqualifier. Level 1 technicians will go through our full screening process then offered after resume review from the PM. Level 2 techs will need to go through a technical screening with the recruiter. Techs need to have their own tools: - Electrician snips - Basic hand tools (Phillips and flat head, wrench set, socket set) - Hand drill (preferred, but they will provide if they do not have their own) 1. Experience pulling Fiber Optic Cable 2. Experience testing Fluke 3. Experience terminating copper and Fiber 4. Experience "dressing" cable is a plus Level 1 Tech - $19-22/hour

Requirements

Must be comfortable working anywhere in Northern Virginia
Minimum of 2 years of data center experience
Techs need to have their own tools: Electrician snips, Basic hand tools (Phillips and flat head, wrench set, socket set), Hand drill (preferred, but they will provide if they do not have their own)
Experience pulling Fiber Optic Cable
Experience testing Fluke
Experience terminating copper and Fiber
6+ months of experience in data center or commercial cabling
Experience with structured cabling and fiber installation.
Ability to follow technical documentation and labeling standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship.
