About The Position
The Cable Tech Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operation workers in the Cable Tech Department. This role involves providing leadership and assistance to resolve personnel, equipment, customer order, and other issues. The supervisor guarantees the on-time delivery of finished cable assembly products that meet all required standards and specifications of planned production. They will direct and coordinate the activities of hourly employees, ensuring compliance with OSHA, safety, and PPE requirements. The supervisor will also monitor and assess employee performance, assist in the interview process for new employees, and provide training and counseling to production employees. Additionally, they will document employee issues and utilize progressive corrective action when warranted, confer with management and hourly workers to resolve worker issues, and read work orders, schedules, and other records to determine production requirements.
