About The Position

We are actively hiring dependable, experienced low-voltage technicians to support high-profile commercial and municipal projects across the tri-county area—including school systems, county facilities, and a large, multi-phase deployment at Charleston International Airport. This role focuses on the installation, service, and troubleshooting of low-voltage and electronic security systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Installing and servicing access control systems and electrified door hardware Mounting and configuring IP and analog camera systems Pulling, terminating, and testing Cat5/Cat6 and fiber cabling Installing wireless access points and network-connected security devices Working with field hardware such as readers, sensors, door operators, panic/crash bars, and maglocks Performing system upgrades, testing, and general troubleshooting You’ll often work independently but will also collaborate closely with a strong service team that takes professionalism seriously. Work is based throughout the Charleston metro area, supporting: County government facilities K–12 school security modernization projects A major long-term airport security initiative Typical schedule is 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM). Occasional Fridays may be required; weekends are rare. Technicians provide basic hand tools—specialty tools and PPE are supplied by the company. Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record (MVR)
  • At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience (Low-voltage cabling, access control installs, electrical apprentice work, or commercial systems experience all apply)
  • Stable work history—we value technicians who are career-focused
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools, ladders, and lifts
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn

Responsibilities
