We cultivate the right people, skills and technologies to help organizations solve and conquer their technological challenges. Position Overview: Provide technical expertise to team members. Provide daily oversight for executing training and keeping track of tasks that have been assigned. Responsible for ensuring that team members have the technical skills and training necessary to complete their assignments. Cable leads track that each team member’s tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner, and reports deficiencies only to their requisite Cable Support Managers. The cable lead should be energetic, and an effective communicator, to help ensure that all team members know their assigned tasks and technical questions are answered. The cable lead shall possess the necessary skills to motivate the team, as well as maintain a high level of discipline and respect.

Requirements

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Shall have a minimum of ten (12) years technical experience in IT cable installation and termination.
Provide team leadership, engineering, and design knowledge to meet technical specifications.
In-Depth knowledge of termination equipment, methodologies, and splicing techniques.
Areas of knowledge must also include: physical ability to lift 50 pounds, cable termination, testing, cable rack preparation, layout and installation, and documentation.
A valid BICSI Technician certification is required.
Five additional years of experience may be substituted for certification
