About The Position
Prince Telecom is hiring entry level Cable Installation Technicians in Hoffman Estates, IL to join our team and help connect America! The position involves resolving, repairing, and installing cable TV, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in accordance with guidelines. Technicians will set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT's, routers, and switches, analyze and record test results, and interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues. The role requires driving a company vehicle safely between various locations and maintaining a clean and stocked vehicle. Customer service duties include greeting and interacting with customers professionally, reviewing requested services, and educating customers about product and service usage.
