About The Position

The Cable Inspector position at Chipton-Ross involves inspecting cables using predetermined methods and specifications. Requirements

• Strong background in the manufacturing process of cable inspections.
• Experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards.
• Prior inspection experience is required.
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in interpreting technical documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proficient with personal computers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and completed cable inspections using predetermined methods and specifications.
• Utilize various measuring devices for inspections.
• Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, and customer specifications to perform inspections.
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processes or control procedures.
• Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.
• Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues.
• Interpret drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions accurately.
• Interface diplomatically with various stakeholders when resolving quality issues.
• Proficiently use personal computers and newer applications.
