About The Position

At TrekConnect, a division of Heilind Mil-Aero, we manufacture mission-critical cable and harness assemblies used in aerospace, defense, and advanced technology systems. As a Cable Assembler, you'll put your hands-on skills to work building high-reliability products that make a difference. Requirements

1+ year of experience in cable, harness, or electronic assembly.
Familiarity with hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, torque tools, and soldering irons.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a team environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements with the U.S. Navy.

Nice To Haves

Experience with fiber optic, soldering, or electrical testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assemble complex cable and wire harnesses using crimping, soldering, stripping, and terminating techniques.
Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure every assembly meets quality standards.
Perform continuity and functional testing using cable testers and other verification tools.
Inspect your own work for accuracy, consistency, and reliability before release.
Collaborate with quality and production teams to identify and correct assembly or wiring issues.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all TrekConnect Quality Management System procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement and cross-training to expand your technical skills.
