Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to apply common sense in performing job.
• Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to use basic high school math skills.
• 2-4 years cable assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out and perform a variety of intricate wiring on cable, connectors, electrical penetrators; junction boxes and similar equipment.
• Read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets and blueprints.
• Use simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations.
• Assemble properly from detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Communicate effectively, listen and get clarification, respond well to questions, record data, and write clearly and informatively.
