About The Position

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented person to join our assembly team! Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials, with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. You will be responsible for creating high-quality custom wood products, working on various projects from start to finish, and ensuring they meet our quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of woodworking experience in a professional setting.
Proficiency in operating various woodworking tools and machinery.
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, joinery, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and designs.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
Experience with finishing techniques (e.g., staining, painting, varnishing) is a plus.
Familiarity with CNC machinery or CAD design software is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

Design, cut, shape, and assemble wood components to create custom furniture, cabinetry, or other wood products based on specifications.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently (saws, sanders, routers, joiners, shapers, etc.).
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
Select appropriate materials (e.g., wood species) for projects.
Ensure accuracy in measurements, cuts, and finishes.
Perform finishing work such as sanding, staining, and varnishing.
Conduct quality checks to ensure precision and adherence to client specifications.
Repair or restore damaged or aging wood products when needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Collaborate with team members, designers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
