About the position
ABC Imaging is currently seeking a Cabinet Maker to join our team. Under the general direction of the Shop Manager, the incumbent performs all necessary fabrication functions typical of the industry.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing client displays and custom fixtures, with focus on wood picture frames.
- May perform finishing operations such as cutting, installing grommets, laminating, and/or mounting of printed jobs.
- Maintains and cleans production and fabrication equipment on a regular basis.
- Assists Manager in maintaining inventory and organizing fabrication supplies.
- Assists installation team as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum high school education
- Previous experience in Woodworking, Finish Carpentry or Sign/Display fabrication required.
- Attention to detail and ability to stick with a task until it is completed to high quality standards
- Comfortable using router, jig saw, table saw, hinge machine, hammer, wood file, chisels, tape measure, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus.
