About The Position
The Cabinetmaker III/ Lead is responsible for producing cabinets, fixtures, architectural millwork and wood furniture for the university. This role acts as a lead to cabinetmaker technicians and other personnel which includes providing training, technical expertise and assistance in performing wood projects, using various cabinetmaking materials and techniques. The Cabinetmaker III/Lead may coordinate the work activities of less experienced cabinetmaker personnel and inspect job sites and plan repairs. Working independently and exercising good judgement and discretion is essential to this job.
