About The Position

A confidential employer is seeking a skilled Cabinet Installer to take on a position involving high-quality cabinetry installation for a local employer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and taking ownership of both field and shop operations.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Ability to operate a pickup truck with a trailer safely.
  • 2+ years of experience in cabinetry installation, closets, finish carpentry, or related construction work.
  • Ability to read and interpret project drawings, floor plans, and installation documents.
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, hardware systems, and installation techniques.
  • Independent worker with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professional and customer-service oriented.
  • Excellent time management and organization.
  • Dependable, punctual, and proactive.
  • Willingness to support both field and warehouse/shop operations.
  • Positive attitude and team-focused mindset.
  • Work performed in both warehouse and on-site job locations.
  • Exposure to changing weather, construction environments, and varying temperatures.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 75 lbs), bending, standing, walking, and ladder work.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces or rugged/unfinished environments.

Responsibilities

  • Install closets, kitchen cabinetry, bathroom vanities, garage storage systems, and other organizational products.
  • Verify measurements, layouts, and make on-site adjustments when needed.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and complete punch list or warranty work.
  • Communicate professionally with teammates, clients, contractors, and other trades.
  • Document work progress with photos, checklists, or digital job notes.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites.
  • Receive, check, and inventory materials, tools, and hardware.
  • Help keep the warehouse organized, safe, and clean.
  • Maintain and track tool inventory and ensure equipment is functional.
  • Prepare and stage materials for upcoming installations.
  • Safely load and unload vehicles for daily project needs.
  • Work with teammates, demonstrating strong craftsmanship and efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, or office staff to resolve field issues.
  • Suggest improvements to installation processes, shop workflows, and SOPs.
  • Use CRM or internal systems to update job notes and track project progress.
