About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Refinish Technician to join our team. This role focuses on various refinishing tasks, ensuring that all final finishes and procedures meet company standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in refinish work, specifically in primer, conversion varnish, lacquer, single stage, and base coat/clear coat applications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow mixing ratios and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with installations.

Responsibilities

• Perform refinishing tasks including surface preparation, repair, and top coating.
• Proper mixing and application of various materials including stains, primers, sealers, colors, and clears.
• Precision masking of areas not to be refinished.
• Color and stain matching.
• Final top coat application.
• Post paint sanding, buffing, and polishing.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.
• Adhere to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines while on the job.
