Remote Work This role is open to applicants who currently live in or can relocate to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana. Travel Occasional travel will be required. Role Statement This role will be responsible for transforming client ideas into functional and aesthetically pleasing cabinet designs, ensuring that each project meets both quality standards and client expectations. This role will work closely with our branch level sales teams to create quotes, designs, and support ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum education of High School or equivalent.
  • Portfolio to include a minimum of 5 years proven design experience with a variety of job sizes and clientele.
  • Proficiency in Cyncly 2020 (or similar design software).
  • Ability to effectively support projects from a remote design role.
  • Creative imagination and practical understanding of construction.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bending, or standing on a stool as necessary.
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
  • Occasional travel is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Design certification (NKBA or similar) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review customer information gathered by the sales team and develop accurate designs and quotes
  • Support showroom teams by preparing layouts, estimates, and product selections in a timely manner
  • Ensure accuracy in specifications, pricing, and orders
  • Help move projects forward through strong coordination with sales, vendors, and operations
  • Prepare and process quotes, purchase orders, changes, and invoices following company guidelines
  • Communicate and coordinate with yard, store, and office teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Support sales staff to resolve customer service issues such as returns, credits, and adjustments as needed
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal team members
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
