About The Position

Ultimate Airstreams Now Hiring: Experienced RV Cabinet Maker The RV Cabinet Maker is responsible for producing quality custom cabinetry in a timely manner and operating all traditional classical woodworking machinery safely and competently. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Guest, Project Designers, and the Production Team to make design decisions and transform the Guest’s vision into reality in their Airstream travel trailer. Build custom cabinetry in units according to specifications. Work efficiently and collaboratively to ensure all deadlines are met. Use all basic hand tools safely and competently. Perform basic maintenance and upkeep on woodworking tools and machinery. Efficient use of a sliding table saw as well as standard table saws. Operate an edge bander, drill press, band saw, router table, etc. Read and interpret design drawings and production documents. Cut and assemble custom cabinetry, install door and drawer fronts, and mill and sand custom molding packages. May cross train to perform other duties.

  • Minimum of 5 years of laminate cabinetry experience is preferred
  • Previous experience reading and interpreting design drawings and production documents
  • Use of power tools such as: band saws, sanders, foam and upholstery material cutting knives etc.
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

  • Solid surface countertop experience, a plus
  • Previous experience with RVs a plus.
