About The Position

The Cabin Safety Specialist at Lowe's is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of executive level passengers during flights. This role involves managing inflight emergencies, leading evacuations, and maintaining high professional standards in cabin service. The specialist must comply with FAA regulations and participate in ongoing training, while also serving as a scheduler and backup to the Flight Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years' experience as a Cabin Safety Attendant with an Airline, Business Aviation Department or government agency (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of culinary arts, food, wine, and menu planning to accommodate first class service to passengers
  • 5-7 years experience in leading and training a team of professional Cabin Safety Attendants.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of Lowe's executive level management team.
  • Diagnose health of passengers and treat medical emergencies.
  • Determine safest evacuation method and lead aircraft evacuations while the pilots fly the airplane.
  • Maintain situational awareness of potential inflight emergencies and extinguish fires in flight.
  • Act as a Cabin Safety Attendant (CSA) and a resident expert on cabin safety matters.
  • Ensure food safety for all passengers, including managing a profile database for allergies and diets.
  • Adapt to situations as they dictate, considering weather and business needs.
  • Ensure initial and recurrent training requirements are met.
  • Make recommendations to correct/prevent cabin safety issues.
  • Utilize good Crew Resource Management Skills.
  • Reconcile all Purchase Card (P-Card) catering invoices for the aircraft.
  • Order and help maintain stock on all aircraft.
  • Act as the Scheduling backup to the Flight Operations Manager.
  • Assume any duties delegated by the In-Flight Manager.
