About The Position

Lake Hope Dining Lodge & Cabins in McArthur, OH is seeking experienced Cabin Cleaners for our 67 cabin property. The Cabin Cleaner is responsible for ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests staying at Lake Hope. This position plays a key role in maintaining the property's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by thoroughly cleaning cabins, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues. Requirements

Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but willing to train hardworking, dedicated candidates
Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Reliable transportation and dependability
Comfortable working in a physically active role (bending, lifting, walking, etc.)
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize guest cabins including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities
Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows and surfaces
Remove trash and recyclables; ensure cabins are refreshed for new arrivals
Inspect cabins for maintenance issues and report any damages or necessary repairs
Replenish cleaning supplies and linens from storage areas
Ensure outdoor entry areas and porches are swept and tidy
Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests and fellow team members
