About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Cab Crane Operator is responsible for picking, packing, and loading material while following established procedures and quality standards. This role uses standard warehouse equipment to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical Skills: Basic math skills; ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
• Physical Abilities Ability to lift, push, pull, climb, bend, and stoop.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a plant/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.
• Prepare materials, products, parts, tools, and/or equipment for shipment.
• Receive and process orders/requests from customers and internal employees.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders, ensuring accuracy using scanning tools.
• Load shipments on flatbed or LTL trucks.
• Receive and process incoming materials, products, parts, tools, and/or equipment.
• Inspect materials for potential damage and document/report findings.
• Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
• Operate forklift, order picker, reach truck, and walkie rider pallet jack to move materials.
• Standardize procedures to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance.
