About The Position
The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) or Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its Adult Anesthesiology Division at the Froedtert West Bend Ambulatory Surgery Center. This position is integral to a team that provides over 63,000 anesthetics annually across more than 100 anesthetizing locations, including affiliate hospitals, operating rooms, and out-of-the-OR settings. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic academic environment that emphasizes exemplary patient care through evidence-based, patient-centered medicine, education of residents and advanced practice professionals, and the pursuit of innovative research to define novel therapies. In this role, the CAA/CRNA will provide anesthesia care primarily for a variety of surgical cases, including gastrointestinal, plastic surgery, general surgery, sports medicine, orthopaedics, and ENT. The position involves working in several locations throughout the Milwaukee area, including the Froedtert Hospital, a 689-bed Level-1 Trauma Center equipped with state-of-the-art technology and an Integrated Procedural Platform, as well as the Milwaukee VA Medical Center, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, and Froedtert West Bend Hospital, among others. The candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality anesthesia care to a complex pediatric patient population under the supervision of Anesthesiologists and as part of a dedicated team of CAAs and certified nurse anesthetists.
