Altus Engineering is currently seeking a C4ISR / Cyber Systems Engineer to provide support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
Provide engineering analysis including C4ISR systems integration and cybersecurity, requirements analysis, vehicle performance predictions, test planning/execution, and reporting.
Support systems engineering analyses and Technical Reviews, participate in design reviews for system-level and subsystem-level designs, and support Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
Support the integration of hardware onto platforms and the execution of tests; review test plans and reports; and formulate recommendations related to issues arising during integration and testing of ECPs.
Prepare, deliver, and update engineering documentation in accordance with DoDI/SECNAVINST and other applicable command policies.
Support the development of Systems Engineering artifacts and briefs as assigned, such as Systems Engineering Plans (SEPs), Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), Field User Evaluation (FUE) plans, and other relevant engineering documents.
Participate in, and support system engineering and C4ISR / Cyber tasks required for performance of Developmental Testing (DT), Operational Testing (OT), and Live Fire Test & Evaluation (LF T&E) activities.
Provide support in the drafting, revising, and collaboration for development of engineering acquisition documents (e.g., strategies, plans, technical summaries/memorandums) per Government policy.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Systems, or related discipline).
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge / background in military C4ISR / Cyber systems; Ground Radio and Intercom Systems experience preferred.
Experience with systems integration and configuration management.
Experience supporting systems engineering analyses and design reviews for system-level and subsystem-level designs.
Experience reviewing Technical Data Packages and evaluating Engineering Change Proposals; ability to develop/update engineering documentation to support systems engineering and T&E activities.
Strong technical writing/briefing skills; ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams, including direct support to Government project leads/engineers.
Ability to work independently and develop/review technical documentation with high quality and technical accuracy.
