About The Position

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable our C2 clients to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network with the right equipment and software requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a seasoned C2 Datacenter Network Architect who knows how to develop the exact network the Intelligence Community needs. As the lead network architect for our team, you’ll use your experience in datacenter network architecture and design to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversarial threats. You’ll be responsible for the design and implementation of a critical network datacenter for a high-priority mission partner. You’ll apply your expertise in software defined networks, transport, and security as you guide our team of problem-solvers to develop tomorrow's next-generation network.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a network engineering lead or architect for large Enterprise DoD Networks.
  • Experience with software defined networks.
  • Experience designing highly available datacenter networks with 20+ distributed spoke sites.
  • Knowledge of L2-L4 networking across protocols in multi-vendor environments.
  • Knowledge of modern network architecture and best practices, including Spine-Leaf.
  • Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise intelligence networks such as JWICS, JADC2, NC3, or C3BMC.
  • Experience planning and provisioning DISN Network Transport.
  • Experience implementing Next Generation Firewalls and SD-WAN.
  • Experience developing hybrid cloud networks.
  • Experience with cross-domain and multi-layer enclave solutions.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Cisco CCIE Certification.
