Requirements

• DoD 8570 Level 2 certification.
• NetApp Certified Data Admin (NCDA) or CCNA Data Center or VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or MCSA.
• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and performance optimization.
• Experience supporting various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.) within a virtualized environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex converged infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Cisco UCS Manager, including service profiles, policies, and firmware management.
• Proficiency in NetApp ONTAP features such as SnapMirror and QoS.
• Experience with VMware features.
• Basic familiarity with Cisco Networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, software and affiliated systems.
• Analyze and resolve problems associated with hardware, operating system, and application software.
• Maintain workstation / server operating system software such as: Windows and UNIX.
• Detect, analyze, and resolve problems associated with hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
• Document System Administration procedures, instructions, changes and upgrades.
• Provide technical assistance of all assigned projects.
• Create and manage user directories on the workstations/servers.
• Perform workstation/server configuration management and documentation.
• Monitor workstations/server logs for errors and failures and perform appropriate troubleshooting and maintenance.
