About The Position

As an Automotive Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and customers every day while earning the pay you deserve and awesome benefits! We are looking for smart, energetic, technically-focused team members who will help us redefine the car-servicing experience. The 'C' Level Technician is responsible for completing preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently with no technical supervision. This individual may also assist senior/master technicians with complex repairs.

Requirements

  • Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
  • Previous automotive experience as a 'D' level tech required
  • Must have good prior work or school attendance
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have basic tools
  • Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Perform basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair
  • Perform basic brake diagnosis and repair
  • Conduct alignments and tire repair
  • Perform fluid maintenance exchange
  • Repair/replace tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) batteries
  • Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle
  • Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay up to date by reading and understanding factory bulletins, covering campaigns, updates, and recalls
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
  • Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
  • Complete required training for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Utilize product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and schools
  • Continuously expand knowledge of new technology
