Northrop Grumman, Mission Systems is seeking a C# and web Software Developer for the Microelectronics Center for the Mission Next division. The position will be located in Linthicum, MD where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal production and emerging programs; please note that the candidate selected for this position will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our Linthicum, MD campus. The ideal candidate will have solid C# and web programming skills, strong experience with reports using VBA macro, Excel, database experience in Oracle/MS SQL, and experience supporting users in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Maintain legacy Access VBA applications and Excel VBA macros. Assess data extraction, report generation, and bugs appearing in data visualization. Ensuring data accuracy and availability. Create/augment/maintain newer C# and web applications. Test applications written by other developers. Report development involving data correlation between potentially multiple databases and/or files. Support user's software usage, finding bugs, and data searches. Help facilitate the evolving needs of a microelectronics manufacturing facility. Other duties as assigned. . This position may be filled as a Level 2 or Level 3, based on the qualifications listed below.

Requirements

  • Application development experience using the following: Web: Node.js, React, Typescript; Desktop: C#, VBA and at least one of these: .NET, Java, JavaScript, Winforms, including ODBC database communications; Database: Oracle, MySQL.
  • Experience with basic SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and database technologies such as Oracle and MS SQL database technologies.
  • Ability and willingness to migrate Visual Basic applications to C#.
  • Experience working closely with internal and external customers to obtain requirements.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
