What we are looking for: Pivotal Consulting is seeking a skilled and motivated C# Developer with Python experience to join our consulting team supporting one of the world’s leading technology companies. This role involves developing, enhancing, and optimizing enterprise-level applications that support large-scale business operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions that balance performance, maintainability, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET development.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python scripting or backend development.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data storage systems (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or similar).
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and automation tools.
  • Previous experience consulting or working with large enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software components using C#, .NET Core, and Python.
  • Integrate APIs and data services across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning sessions.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and implement robust, maintainable solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into efficient, effective technical implementations.
  • Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, and infrastructure teams in an agile environment.
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation, and technical documentation.
