About The Position

Job Summary: The Team Lead Operator supports the Production Supervisor by helping keep the production area running smoothly day to day. This role is hands on and works directly alongside operators while also providing guidance, training support, and real time problem solving. The Team Lead Operator is expected to perform standard Operator duties while serving as a go to resource on the production floor. Key Accountabilities: Ensure all Operators are properly trained and following standard work Monitor productivity and address workflow or equipment issues as they arise Detect quality issues and defects in molded components Promote a positive, productive work environment and lead by example Maintain production flow in the absence of the Supervisor Support safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily workflow including people, materials, and product flow Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and escalate when needed Support onboarding and ongoing training for Operators Coordinate break coverage and assist with machine operation during breaks Complete required paperwork for line startup and shutdown Act as a subject matter expert for assigned production lines Collaborate with internal teams to resolve production or quality issues Perform Operator duties as needed Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for the duration of the shift Frequent walking, bending, gripping, and lifting Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures

Requirements

  • Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Ability to distinguish colors and identify defects
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Injection molding experience preferred
  • Experience working in an ISO controlled environment is a plus
