About The Position

This position is an onsite role at customer's site in Fort Bragg, NC and requires an existing TS Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph. We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer responsible for providing oversight on the Archon CSfC solution and leading a team of engineers who will be responsible for maintaining the health of the overall customer solution. This includes troubleshooting advanced solution issues, understanding/designing viable solutions for emerging mission requirements and, directing solution upgrades and maintenance activities to ensure the Archon solution preserves its NSA CSfC Accreditation. This is a shiftwork position to support a 24/7 mission.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizenship and have an active TS/SCI.
  • CI Polygraph (preferred).
  • Minimum Experience of 5 years; Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university or extensive experience with implementing complex network solutions.
  • Certifications: Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP-DCV, and CompTIA Security+ CE.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher required.

  • In-Depth understanding of NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) technologies.
  • Solid understanding of the DoD's implementation of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles used to manage risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information or data.
  • Knowledge of information technology (IT) security principles and methods.
  • Knowledge of the common attack vectors on the network layer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight on the Archon CSfC solution.
  • Lead a team of engineers responsible for maintaining the health of the overall customer solution.
  • Troubleshoot advanced solution issues.
  • Understand/design viable solutions for emerging mission requirements.
  • Direct solution upgrades and maintenance activities.
  • Establish networking environment by managing system configuration.
  • Assist in system installation and define, document, and enforce system standards.
  • Provide detailed information for hardware and software selection.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services.
  • Conduct testing of network systems.
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring performance and troubleshooting network problems.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
