About The Position
This C# .Net Software Developer position involves working with clients to define requirements, perform GAP analysis, and develop and test custom applications. While programming experience is essential, a foundational understanding of business processes, particularly in retail operations like purchasing or shipping, is beneficial. The company prefers candidates who can demonstrate leadership qualities, including the ability to coach and mentor other team members. This role is strictly 100% Onsite in Norton Shores, MI, with no remote work option available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience with .Net, C#, MySQL, Visual Studio, WinForms, ASP .Net
- 3+ years of experience in software development
Nice To Haves
- EDI experience
- Basic knowledge of business processes, such as purchasing or shipping, especially in a retail environment
- Project Leadership skills
- 3+years of experience with retail business processes
- Experience with AmazonEC2 instances, GitHub or other source management system
- Knowledge of EDI, ANSI X.12, VANs (value-added networks)
- Experience with XML, SOAP, Json, API and knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming techniques
- Ability to take a leadership role, coach and mentor other team members
