About The Position

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented C#/.Net Developer to join the Veterans Affairs department. This is a full-time position requiring experienced candidates with a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance. Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply. The role involves performing code reviews, system maintenance, and enhancements, as well as designing and developing computer systems or programs based on user-defined requirements. The developer will write code, test, and analyze new application software while working independently with IT functional units and business units.

Requirements

• MUST have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• 8+ years’ .Net experience and/or 8+ years’ C# experience.
• Expertise with Containerization.
• SQL DB experience.
• GIT experience.
• AWS experience.
• JIRA experience.
• Experience in a high paced DevOps environment.
• Experience in large scale Enterprise environments.
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position.

Nice To Haves

• AWS Cloud Certification.
• Electronic Data Interchange X.12 (EDI) Medical Claims experience.
• X.12 medical claims (837, 834, 277, etc) experience.
• Experience with T-SQL.
• Experience working with remote U.S. based teams (Not Offshore teams).
