About The Position
NurseCore is currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s) to support a local hospice facility in Santa Barbara. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide compassionate care and comfort to patients in need. Details: Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 7pm – 7am Schedule: 3–5 days per week (weekends required, but not every weekend) Pay Rate: $23/hour Overtime available
Requirements
- Active California CNA license
- 1 year of CNA experience
- Current CPR certification
- TB test or chest x-ray (within the past 12 months)
- Physical exam (within the past 12 months)
- Experience with special needs clients required
- Weekend availability required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Support clients with special needs
- Maintain a safe and clean home environment
- Communicate with the supervising nurse and care team
