About The Position

Spurwink Services is searching for exceptionally kind Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to assist residents at our 12-bed, home-like nursing facility in Lewiston on second shift. As a CNA you will help support adults with intellectual disabilities in a small facility with a supportive management team. The resident-to-staff ratio is 3:1! CNAs at Spurwink deliver the most high-quality care to our residents. Daily tasks include reporting changes in residents' physical and behavioral conditions, assisting with personal care and transportation as needed, participating in community recreational activities - and more. The starting pay for this position is $24.00 to $28.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Active C.N.A. and current on the Maine State Registry
• Minimum of 1 year of C.N.A. experience required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Provide support to adults with intellectual disabilities in agency homes
• Drive individuals to and from appointments and day programs
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• Facilitate community integration
• Provide positive behavioral supports
