About The Position
The C Mechanic Technician performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs, both minor and major on trucks, trailers, and vehicles in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and practical manner. The technician uses a variety of hand and power tools to accomplish assigned maintenance functions and assist other mechanics as required. Responsibilities include completing and documenting all repairs and preventive maintenance according to Department of Transportation guidelines, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance schedules through the Shop Supervisor to minimize the impact on CRCT's fleet operations, and practicing safe work processes to maintain a safe and clean working environment for self and others.
