Requirements

  • Have a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from the shop.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Be energetic, positive, and honest.
  • Be fully committed to investing time in yourself.
  • Help represent All-Star Automotives brand at events & digital platforms
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Driver's license with less than three violations in three years (Required)
  • Entry Level (Less than 2 years) of service technician experience
  • Entry Level knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
  • Willingness to participate in in-house training
  • Ability to operate entry-level auto repair tools
  • Listening and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • State Vehicle Inspection License (Must be able to obtain within 60 days of employment)
  • Willing to get ASE Certification (Plus if already obtained)

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance – Entry Level Tasks include oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes
  • Learn and eventually help perform: air conditioner re-charges, front end alignments, inspections, battery installations, headlight/taillight installations, etc.....
  • Learn to diagnose & Perform testing procedures - determine the sources of customer's problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
  • Perform various repairs - Working on repairing it right the first time
  • PMI/Digital Inspections - Providing vehicle service recommendations to a professional service adviser for estimating and approvals
  • Manage paperwork – Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and our records.
  • Maintain cleanliness - Ensure the work environment is clean and safe to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
  • Help represent All-Star Automotives brand at events & digital platforms.
  • Be available to assist Management and help around the store
