About The Position

This entry-level position is responsible for performing routine chemical and physical analyses under supervision, accurately documenting results, and supporting quality and production activities in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Chemistry or related field or equivalent laboratory/manufacturing experience is preferred.
0–2 years of laboratory or manufacturing experience.
Ability to follow written procedures and instructions.
Basic laboratory and computer skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Perform routine QC analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and waste samples following approved procedures.
Perform basic calculations using a calculator.
Accurately record analytical results and enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Notify supervision or senior technicians of out-of-specification or abnormal results.
Prepare basic reagents and standards as instructed.
Perform routine instrument checks and cleaning.
Maintain retain samples and quality documentation.
Assist senior technicians with special or non-routine sample analyses.
Properly handle and dispose of chemical waste in compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
Work assigned rotating schedules (including 4-on / 4-off) and provide coverage as required.
Follow all EHS, quality, and site safety rules and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
