About The Position

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Join Our Team at Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine in Willoughby, OH Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine in Willoughby, OH is actively seeking a passionate Child and Adolescent (C/A) Psychiatrist to join our acute inpatient care team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community's behavioral health needs while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Position Overview: The Psychiatry Physician role is a full-time employed or independent contractor position with a Monday - Friday schedule and one weekend per month of paid call coverage. This position involves providing care for child and adolescent patients in our inpatient program. Duties include conducting admissions evaluations , managing daily patient care, and leading the treatment team. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams are dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive environment. Requirements

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited program
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or completing fellowship training
  • Licensed to practice in Ohio
  • Previous inpatient experience preferred
  • Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (or completing fellowship training)
  • Experience in Inpatient Behavioral Health Services preferred
  • Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, counselors, nurses, social workers, and other therapists
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Ohio
