The Boeing Company is currently hiring a Software Engineering Manager to support the C-17 Mission Software Team in Long Beach, CA. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization. This manager will lead a team of engineers that designs and develops flight software solutions for the U.S. Air Force and Foreign Military customers. The C-17 Mission Software Team develops and tests associated safety critical flight software in a fast-paced agile engineering environment. Successful candidates will work closely with systems engineering teams, customers, suppliers, and field service representatives. Candidates will research and integrate new technologies to both modernize and sustain fleets of the world's finest airlift platform. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to deliver new capabilities using the latest engineering techniques to design and test C-17 flight systems.
