About The Position

The C-130J Loadmaster is responsible for supervising the loading and unloading of cargo, vehicles, and people on a variety of aircraft. The C-130J Loadmaster's duties include mathematically preplanning the correct placement of the load on the airplane, providing passenger comfort and safety, securing cargo, and taking part in airdrop operations.

Requirements

Loadmaster shall have a minimum of 500 instructor hours as a C-130J Instructor Loadmaster or Evaluator.
Have a minimum of two (2) years instructional experience in an aircrew training environment on C-130J.
Possess and maintain a Class II Flight Physical.
After required refresh training, pass a NATOPS check-ride administered by designated personnel.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required.
Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled Loadmaster led/supported classroom, simulator, ground, and flight training consistent with USG approved training syllabus, using traditional and modern tools such as iPads, computers, and video projector systems.
Provide operational and troubleshooting SME support as necessary.
Evaluate and document student training/mission performance.
Develop courseware and curriculum IAW customer requirements.
Review, assess and recommend courseware and curriculum improvements to the training program as per governing directives.
Conduct training device and Static Aircraft operation instruction to personnel as necessary.
Attend required scheduled meetings (e.g., Scheduling, Standardization, Instructor Loadmaster/Aircrew).
Perform administrative duties such as record keeping, monitoring student progress, counseling, quality assurance, safety, security, and maintenance of training programs and equipment.
Must maintain a Class II Flight Physical and remain current/proficient as a Loadmaster IAW contract governing directive.
Other duties as assigned as per Director of Operations.
