About The Position

The C-12 / King Air Army Transport Quality Control Inspector (QC-TI) is responsible to the Site Supervisor. when performing QC duties and inspections required during actions performed by their respective site. QCI’s perform spot-checks on work in progress, final inspections on maintenance items and are familiar with the provisions and responsibilities in the various programs managed and monitored by QC. Must possess a valid (FAA) A&P certificate with a valid (FAA) IA Inspection Authorization, required. A minimum of Five (5) years hands-on maintenance experience on the Army C-12/King Air (200/350/1900) aircraft is required. US Citizenship is required to obtain a US Govt Secret Clearance. Comply with FAA regulations as applicable Comply with written company maintenance and logistics procedures Know, understand and comply with the requirements outlined in the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Transport statement of work. Ensure aircraft records keeping procedures comply with the requirements outlined in DA PAM 738-751. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Deploy to overseas locations with unit aircraft to support operational requirements. Perform inspections, conduct evaluations and report deficiencies in all areas of contract performance as detailed in the applicable Quality Assurance Procedures. Annual review of forms for accuracy, intent and necessity Are authorized to stop work or prevent an aircraft from being released for flight if discovering of a deficiency creates an unsafe condition and/or presents a hazard to property or personnel. Perform evaluations and inspections as outline in the QAP Implement applicable Quality Control policies and procedures. Maintain records of Evaluator Proficiency Evaluations. Perform other qualified duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Must possess a valid (FAA) A&P certificate with a valid (FAA) IA Inspection Authorization, required.
  • A minimum of Five (5) years hands-on maintenance experience on the Army C-12/King Air (200/350/1900) aircraft is required.
  • Must be proficient in the use of AWBS.
  • In-depth knowledge of the FAA, Army, & Hawker Beech.
  • A valid drivers’ license is required.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid US Passport fir OCONUS TDY travel, if requested.
  • Must have the ability to move freely about the interior and in the unpressurized area aft of the aft pressure bulkhead and meet aircraft specific specs for weight limit. AR95-20)
  • A&P Mechanic Pre-employment Medical Requirements: Medical/Physical. All personnel performing engine runs, ground taxi, ordnance loading, or operating self-propelled support equipment within Ten (10) feet of the aircraft silhouette must pass a physical examination from a qualified medical professional prior to conducting these operations, and subsequently on a specified periodic basis, not to exceed Five (5) years. (BMI Body Mass Index below 40 is required).
  • Security Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance.
  • US Citizenship is Required to obtain a US Govt Security Clearance, and for facility credentials, base access and authorization to work at this site/facility.

  • Be physically able to deploy with unit aircraft to overseas locations.
