About The Position
The Buyer contributes to AHF by enhancing both internal and external relationships with regards to procurement of goods and services of the highest quality and lowest cost. Facilitate sourcing requests and purchase order assignments to support AHF teams. The Buyer enhances the reputation of AHF by promoting ethical sourcing practices, optimizing resource utilization for maximum efficiency, and establishing transparent, trust-based relationships with suppliers. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as the Buyer, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. At AHF, we are nimble and able to adapt in a dynamic environment to assist in providing the best experience for our clients and workplace for our employees. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Buyer will work as a part of a close-knit team to evaluate new vendor requests and existing vendors performance. Process sourcing requests and purchase orders to vendors offering best value to allow the business lines to focus on core competencies, client care and retention efforts at the front line.
