About The Position

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the organization’s operational and production needs. This role ensures timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices while maintaining compliance with company policies and supplier agreements.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and source materials, components, and services required by the business.
  • Procurement & Sourcing: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiation & Cost Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Negotiation & Cost Management: Monitor market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Order Management: Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Order Management: Track and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with inventory and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Inventory Coordination: Assist in resolving shortages or delays impacting operations.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Review and manage supplier contracts and agreements.
  • Supplier Performance: Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and service.
  • Supplier Performance: Address and resolve issues related to delayed shipments, quality discrepancies, or invoicing.
